Event Concept: The Bride to be and her MOH's and bridal party

Recipe for a Baked with Love Bridal Shower:
1 Sweet Bride in love
5 cups of one Sweet bridal party
10 cups of cute baking inspired details and goodies
2 cups of bridal shower spice
1 Sweet Caroline of the Sweet Love Chain for added sweetness

Because the bride to be hinted to her bridal party about having a baking themed bridal party, Sheryn's bridal party was sweet enough to bake up a sweet bridal shower for their sweet friend.  After talking to Sheryn's sweet bridal party, we decided to bake up something lovely for the bride to be! Based on the baking theme, I was inspired to create a recipe for a "Baked with Love" shower: "baking" decor, lace, modern vintage details and sweet goodies.

Sheryn's bridal party was sweet enough to get her favorite desserts from Portos, make cute little cheesecake bites, send her custom "baking" inspired cakepops (they were cute little measuring cups and T + S designed!) shipped from friends from NY AND they planned sweet baking themed games such as customizing cookies for the bride to be. Everyone came dressed in cute aprons and the bride to be received a special gift---a custom made apron for the "baking" bride. They even hand tied cute little polka dot napkins with ribbon and brought a pretty little bread basket for pens at the guest sign in table. All guests wrote cute little recipe cards for the bride to be for recipes of "love" (great idea from the bridal party!). The recipe cards would later be put in a pretty recipe cookbook for the baking bride! (What a great way to start the bride to be's future cookbook!)

I added fun modern vintage details with cut glass cakestands, pretty vintage plates, custom lace signage decor in frames and custom detailed all baking utensils and cookware with lace. (Oh, how I LOVE lace!) I also put together pretty floral in cake plates, bowls, cooking pans and saucers. My favorite detail was putting lovely hydrangeas in a vintage cooking silver bread pan (sooo cute!). I especially adored the sign in table with all the pretty cooking supplies for the bride to be!

I had so much fun planning and designing the "Baked with Love" theme with Sheryn's bridal party (thank you to Joy, Angelica,  all the MOHs and bridal party help! you guys are so sweet and creative).

Beautiful bridal shower shots were captured by my dear friend, Hoami who drove all the way from SD, (you are soooo awesome and a lifesaver!) courtesy of Sun Swept Studio Photography. Check out their website for all their sun swept photography!

It was truly the sweetest recipe for a baked with love bridal shower! Inspiration for today: Bake up some love everyday!

Xoxo,
Sweet Caroline
